Here is a compilation of the work that has been done so far in the studio. Art is by Me, my sister Veronica, Robert Cornealius, Dylan Bidwell, and Oscar Meintigue.
I'm working right now to create a studio space for myself and my house. The mission needless to say is seeming a little impossible with all the trash and knick knacks from my families lives as hoarders. But I will get it done. Slowly but surely. But anyways the studio shall have a wall to wall mural of randomness done by local artist that I call friends. This piece is my buggy eyed fish that I'm working on.
America will Eat itself was an idea I had about making outsourcing and it's effect on the economy as easy to understand as a childrens book like "Animal Farm". In the short ten page story, are leading lady little America is a happy little girl that loves nothing more to do then play, color, and eat lots of delicous money. But she absolutely hates doing chores. So she bargains and pleads with her brother and sisters to do her chores for her in the exchange that they get a portion of her meal. She soon finds out that she bargained away her whole meals and went to bed hungry. The story then goes on to show that America starved herself just so she would not have to do any chores.
For Reference this is the second part of drawings in the hopes that this will appear in it's correct chronological order if you scroll through my blog.
Here is a few of the dog portraits that I've been comissioned to do, I have a few human ones but I have to track them down and get some photos first. The dogs featured here are Skrilla, Marley, and Toby. Each one is and was an institute of the Ocean Beach scene. I loved doing these pieces, and I can always be commisioned to do more. *hint* hint*wink*wink*
These sketches are the only living survivors from the journey in my purse to home after work. All piece were done at Hunter Steakhouse where I'm a hostess at. All are original works, done with the loving critques of the Hunter Staff, yes my camel looks like a dragon, but I'm working on it:)Here we have examples of my love of fantasy, a centaur out for a playful run. The big man with the cigar is some road warrior idea which I didn't get to finish during my shift, and the beauty of the Hunter sketches is that they can only be started and finished at Hunters. Enjoy my Friends:)
Time to make things happen for myself, Every day I'll be posting something different including the Hunter Sketches. Today I'm going to post a few oldies and hopefully by tonight I can post some new artwork that people haven't seen.
